FOREVER TAVERN QUEST GUIDE

Prepare the mixture and preserve the final proof

Forever Tavern editorial · Updated October 12, 2026

Basis: Objective and counters recovered from Wowhead’s Forever edition, reviewed October 12, 2026. Contact positions have separate evidence labels; older imported comments are not current beta observations. Not independently playtested.

What the record establishes

Fill the cleansing bowl, gather the three Blackwood food samples, and use the mixture at the northern bonfire to expose the satyr. Bring its talisman to Thundris. Supplied tool: Empty Cleansing Bowl.

Read the source record · Read the source record · Checked October 12, 2026.

Suggested approach

Prepare the correct stage
Fill the Empty Cleansing Bowl at Auberdine's moonwell before leaving town. Carry it north to the Blackwood camps and collect a fruit, grain, and nut sample.
Follow the named objective
Check all three ingredients before approaching the bonfire nearest Cliffspring River. Clear space, recover health, and use the prepared mixture to trigger the satyr encounter.
Confirm credit and hand over
Defeat the summoned corruptor and recover Talisman of Corruption before returning to Thundris. Keep the talisman requirement separate from the ingredient checklist so the final pickup is not missed.

Planning notes

The ingredients are preparation for an encounter, while the talisman is the proof brought home. Check the bowl and all three samples before triggering the encounter, then confirm the talisman separately before departing.

If progress stalls

Read the live item-use message and inspect the bowl state. Exact barrel pins and the old demon-bag interaction are Classic route references, not independently verified beta instructions. Older comments identify Xabraxxis' Demon Bag as the talisman's container. Treat exact barrel coordinates and container behaviour as older route notes until checked in the beta.
