Your objective checklist

Keep separate counters for the recorded objective. Mark a box only after the in-game log confirms that condition. Partial stacks, uncredited kills and the final handover are separate checks.

FOREVER TAVERN QUEST GUIDE

Second Bashal’Aran stage: eight earrings, not the seal or flame.

Forever Tavern editorial · Updated October 12, 2026

Basis: Objective and counters recovered from Wowhead’s Forever edition, reviewed October 12, 2026. Contact positions have separate evidence labels; older imported comments are not current beta observations. Not independently playtested.

What the record establishes

Collect eight Grell Earrings and return them to Asterion. Second Bashal’Aran stage: eight earrings, not the seal or flame.

Read the source record · Read the source record · Checked October 12, 2026.

Suggested approach

  1. Prepare the correct stage

After the blue-aura introduction, accept Asterion’s earring task and confirm that the tracker requests eight. Do not mix this second stage up with the later Ancient Moonstone Seal.

  2. Follow the named objective

Work the nearby grell and sprite area while checking the collection counter. ForeverDB lists Wild Grell and Vile Sprite as Classic loot sources; it does not verify current Forever drop rates. Pull manageable enemies rather than following an unverified claim about a best-drop spot.

  3. Confirm credit and hand over

Return to Asterion with the complete set. Accept the next stage before hunting the seal: killing satyrs ahead of the active objective is an unreliable way to advance a quest chain.

Planning notes

Second Bashal’Aran stage: eight earrings, not the seal or flame. Match the stage by its objective and quest ID before combining this trip with other work. Keep confirmed collection credit separate from travel and conversation steps.

If progress stalls

ForeverDB explicitly labels unobserved target drop sources, hand-in coordinates and chain requirements as Classic reference. Those positions are orientation aids and may differ in the Forever beta.
