FOREVER TAVERN QUEST GUIDE

Find Jai’vhanel and bring back the feather

Forever Tavern editorial · Updated October 12, 2026

What the record establishes

Defeat Jai'vhanel, collect one Feather of Jai'vhanel, and deliver it to Sentinel Glynda Nal'Shea in Auberdine. Search context: Mountain base near the Ameth'Aran ruins, Darkshore.

Suggested approach

Check the bounty before leaving Auberdine
Keep the accepted bounty in your log and leave a bag slot for its proof item. Plan the trip around Ameth'Aran so the return to Auberdine also finishes nearby work.
Search the mountain edge and collect the feather
Look around the approximate 45, 58 area near the ruins. A first-hand beta report identifies a level 12 owl here. Defeat Jai'vhanel and loot the feather; a kill alone is not the listed hand-in requirement.
Return to the named sentinel
Bring the feather to Sentinel Glynda Nal'Shea in Auberdine. Compare Swordfeather Cloak with your equipped back item before replacing it: its published Forever tooltip lists 12 armor and 1 Strength.

Planning notes

The important distinction is the feather proof: plan the return around a bag check. A useful cloak is not guaranteed to beat an existing item.

If progress stalls

If the objective remains incomplete, check for the named feather before searching for another owl. The published approximate coordinates describe a search area. The objective says north of Ameth’Aran; another reference describes east. The coordinates are an approximate player search area, not a guaranteed spawn.
