Suggested approach

Prepare the correct stage
Accept the follow-up to The Red Crystal and keep the supplied Empty Water Tube. Before leaving Auberdine, use the moonwell as directed and verify that you now have the filled Moonwell Water Tube.
Follow the named objective
Travel toward the red crystal at the eastern mountain wall. Its Classic reference position is 47.3, 48.7. If the crystal interaction does not advance the task, inspect the tube state first instead of repeating the entire trip with an empty container.
Confirm credit and hand over
Use the filled-tube interaction at the crystal and check the resulting quest dialogue. The reference hand-in is the crystal itself; The Fragments Within is the next stage. Do not automatically return to Glynda before checking the object.

Planning notes

Middle red-crystal stage; empty tube is supplied, filled tube is the required quest item. Match the stage by its objective and quest ID before combining this trip with other work. Keep confirmed collection credit separate from travel and conversation steps.

If progress stalls

ForeverDB explicitly labels unobserved target drop sources, hand-in coordinates and chain requirements as Classic reference. Those positions are orientation aids and may differ in the Forever beta.
