Suggested approach

Prepare the correct stage
Confirm quest ID 4681 or the Sea Turtle Remains objective. The preceding same-name quest concerns a different carcass and a different item.
Follow the named objective
Search underwater west of Auberdine near the wreck mentioned in the quest description. Plan a short dive with a clear route back to the surface before interacting with the turtle.
Confirm credit and hand over
Check that Sea Turtle Remains is in your bags, then return to Gwennyth. A bone sample from the southern beached creature does not replace this quest's turtle item.

Planning notes

The shared title hides two different expeditions. This second stage adds an underwater search, so leave enough time to return to the surface and confirm the turtle sample before arranging the town handover.

If progress stalls

Check for Sea Turtle Remains and quest 4681. Sea Creature Bones from 3524 is the wrong sample; the same quest title does not make the items interchangeable. Classic position for the submerged turtle is Darkshore 31.8, 46.3. The Forever objective specifies west of Auberdine but does not verify that exact coordinate.
