QUEST BRIEFING · REVIEWED OCTOBER 12

Prepare The Restless Dead

Record #96394 · Alliance · The Hall of Thanes. The recorded acceptance minimum is 10; the quest level 15 is a separate field.

Your objective checklist

Keep separate counters for each recorded target. Mark a box only after the in-game log confirms that condition. Partial stacks, uncredited kills and the final handover are separate checks.

Recorded reward options

  • Dusty BeltWaist · Leather · Required level 1 · 41 Armor · +2 Agility / +2 Spirit
  • Cryptwalker BracersWrist · Mail · Required level not recorded · 69 Armor · +2 Strength / +2 Spirit

The source lists a choice of one reward; do not plan to receive every option.

Item comparisons use our equipment snapshot. Required level describes wearing the item, not accepting this quest. Compare the slot and useful stats against what you already own.

Plan this dungeon visit

Compare The Hall of Thanes equipment and acquisition evidence. Check the named objective before entering; a dungeon equipment association does not establish where a quest item drops.

FOREVER TAVERN QUEST GUIDE

Read the spirit requirement as well as the two kill counters

Basis: Public beta-client quest record reviewed on 11 October 2026; recommendations are editorial planning, not a playtested walkthrough. Not independently playtested.

What the record establishes

The Alliance record calls for fifteen Enraged Apparitions, ten Tormented Souls, and putting Anvilmar’s spirit to rest. Its structured objective list displays the two creature counters, so the prose adds an important completion check.

Read the source record · Checked October 11, 2026.

Suggested approach

  1. Keep all three requirements in view

Read the full objective, not only the abbreviated tracker. Make a checklist for both creature types and the spirit instruction before the group begins.

  2. Check distribution at natural pauses

After a section of the run, compare the two counters. Twenty-five credited kills split incorrectly across the types will leave a requirement unfinished.

  3. Resolve the final spirit instruction

When both counters are full, inspect the whole quest state. If it remains incomplete, re-read the spirit wording and tell the party what is still outstanding before leaving.

Planning notes

The useful distinction is between arithmetic completion and quest completion. The two numbered counters total twenty-five, but that sum does not remove the additional instruction in the text. Keep An Ancient Grudge separate in your plan: its named target is related context, not public proof that a single encounter automatically completes both quests. This approach also makes a beta report more precise: record which counters finished and which instruction remains, rather than reporting only that “the dungeon is done.”

If progress stalls

We have not verified whether the spirit instruction requires a separate interaction, or whether credit is shared with another quest. The source’s Alliance label should be checked against your character’s current availability.
