What the record establishes
An Ancient Grudge names Faldrim Anvilmar in the Hall of Thanes. The published acceptance minimum is 10, while the dungeon listing gives Group Finder level 13. Those are different requirements.

Suggested approach
- Check the quest before joining
Confirm that this exact task appears in your log. If using Group Finder, check the available queue separately; the quest minimum alone is not an entry guarantee.
- Tell the party what you need
Mention Faldrim by name before the run. If others are pursuing Durgen or heirlooms, agree to check each goal rather than treating a single destination as everybody’s completion point.
- Verify Faldrim credit before departure
Read your personal tracker after the relevant encounter. Keep the task until its handover is accepted; a different spirit or completed companion quest does not establish this one’s progress.
Planning notes
This is best treated as a named-target appointment within a shared dungeon trip. The preparation question is whether the group intends to visit that target, not how many enemies it plans to kill. Combining the Hall’s quests can reduce repeated travel, but only after you have confirmed that each is available to your character. If time is limited, make the outstanding named objective visible to the group before any exit decision.
If progress stalls
The record supplies no tested location, boss strategy or safe solo level. “Put to rest” describes the goal; it does not document a special dialogue option. Catacomb Cloak and Deepgrave Trousers are reward choices, not items needed to start the task.
