Suggested approach
- Prepare for the southwestern bounty
Keep the bounty active and plan your return to Goldshire. Long Road recorded a Forever pickup near 24.6, 78.3 and a Dughan turn-in near 42.1, 65.9; these are observed contacts, not a promised minimum level.
- Secure the proof item
Find Hogger in southwestern Elwynn and approach with space to recover from nearby enemies. After defeating him, loot the Huge Gnoll Claw and verify it is in your bags before leaving.
- Compare the reward choices
Deliver the claw to Marshal Dughan. The current Forever record includes Apprentice Wizard's Gown alongside the tunic, leggings and staff. Choose an upgrade for your usable armor or weapon slot rather than copying a Classic reward list.
Planning notes
The added gown makes the current reward list relevant to casters. Its published tooltip shows 2 Intellect and 2 spell damage/healing.
If progress stalls
Before returning, check for the claw. Avoid using old page comments as beta combat instructions; they include unrelated patch versions and jokes.
